Meera Krishnan is a cardiologist and health researcher in Thiruvananthapuram. She sees patients two days a week and leads a research group studying how distance, cost and gender shape heart care in South India.

She trained in medicine and cardiology in Kerala and completed a PhD in epidemiology in London. She is an associate editor of the Journal of Regional Cardiology.
